How to Reset Your Facebook Password

Here are the steps on how to reset your Facebook password:

If you remember your email address or phone number associated with your account:

Go to the Facebook login page: https://www.facebook.com/

Click on “Forgot password?” below the login button.

Enter your email address, phone number, or username associated with your account.

Choose whether you want to receive a password reset code via email or text message.

Check your email or text message for the code and enter it on the Facebook page.

Create a new, strong password and confirm it.

Click “Reset Password” to save your changes.

If you don’t remember your email address or phone number:

Go to the Facebook Find Your Account page: https://www.facebook.com/help/105487009541643

Enter your full name or username.

If you see your profile picture, click “This Is My Account”.

If you don’t see your profile picture, click “I am not in this list”.

Follow the on-screen prompts to answer any questions Facebook provides to help confirm your identity.

Once Facebook verifies your identity, they might offer additional options to recover your account, such as using trusted contacts or security questions.

Additional tips:

Choose a strong password that is at least 8 characters long and includes a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

Don’t reuse passwords across different websites or accounts.

Consider using a password manager to help you create and store strong passwords.

Remember, Facebook will never ask you for your password through email or text message. Be cautious of any emails or messages claiming to be from Facebook that ask for your password.
